Eating and drinking
There are a number amazing places on the island to eat. Here are some of our top picks.
Traditional Indonesian, with a seafood focus. The snapper wrapped in banana leaf is sensational and cheap. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. The sandy floor will massage your feet, and very casual family run Warung will leave you feeling connected to the relaxed island vibe.
Fairly new to the island, The Coconut Hut has a great little menu, extremely well priced food and friendly staff to boot. Mixture of Traditional and western classics. The fish tacos are delish!
Ginger and Jamu
One of the islands best spots for brunch, they do a great coffee and have the best vegan and vego menu on the island. If you didn’t need any more convincing they are situated right on the water front, so you can go for a quick dip while waiting for your order.
A little more up market, but nestled on the hill, a 10 minute walk from the villa. Perfect position for sunset oggling, they do brilliant cocktails and mocktails and they do a pretty dam good pizza!
One of the first modern eateries on the island, and also one of the busiest, so make sure you book or arrive early. They often have live music, their menu is diverse however it’s not the cheapest on the island. Located in Jungut Batu on the main road.
Lembongan’s first beach club and definitely the most luxurious. You’ll find funky tunes, great service, nice wine list, a pool and their donuts are to die for! The price point is higher, but worth a visit while your on the island.
